What's in a Military Convoy?

Heading south on M9 today between Dunblane and Stirling.

2 police bikes doing the 2x2 trick. Just heading to Stirling cop shop methinks. Oh no.
Along comes several green Army - maybe Navy? - trucks, including an artic overtaking in lane 2 followed by more smaller wagons. Then another police bike.
And a little way behind all this lot, a big red fire engine with his blue lights on.

Quite a package!

Warheads?? Some kind of munitions?

SEG (special escort group) can move almost anything, where I used to live, there are normally well armed bods in blacked out range rovers before and after the obvious convoy.

always have alot of guns its the running out of ammo thats the problem
