Hi Banzai,

You are talking about a GPS which is about Six years old, out of date and worthless.

The V7 software is three versions old and the Ram mount for an old GPS. The arm and handlebar bracket being about the only thing still usable today.

It was obviously a "hard answer" for me to give you. But be reasonable how much do you think its worth taking into consideration all the above.

A secondhand Quest with ram mount and version nine was just sold here for 85£ so I reckon if you get fifty for yours you'll be VERY LUCKY

HTH

Not a feckin stupid answer but as usefull as my first one.

I paid £170 for a brand new one with free upgrade to V8 about two years ago. Although now steam-driven by modern standards I still use it on the bike on the yearly Europe trip. Whilst it's not as user-friendly as some of the later models it still does it's job of getting you from start to finish, which, let's be right is all you basically want from a gps.

I think a full package would probably be worth about £50 to me tops as there's so many out there. If it's in good order though it'll still serve well, remember it was the dogs in it's day so must be some use to someone.

thanks tuned for a straight answer, its quiet obvious its not worth alot as i didn't pay alot for it a year or two ago, it is old but its waterproof and will still get you where you need to be. its going on fleabay and i don't want to be asking a silly price for it hence the question:mmmm

richie's right it's not worth a lot about £50-70

There's still after 'healthy' sale market for both SPIII, Quest 1 and 2610's (the latter if they come up) or their parts...

SPIII new/refurb base units only have been selling for around £50. The mount as new is £27, the power leads £13 to £16 and cradle is £13, so maybe sell as parts ?.
