Well?
I use it myself and have had no problems with it and it seems of benefit (it's caught stuff picked up files that have made "attacks" etc.) but i see alot of those who seem to be the serious tech-ies quite against it, I am using spybot search&destroy as well,
Really just looking for opinion here:"remove my ignorance"
Also anyone recommend a good online tech magazine to attempt keep up to date with computer news?

Do a search for it..used the 'advanced' function and search only in 'Computer help' and you'll soon see why most of us think it's so crap.

It's bloatware, it's ineffectual and it's only sold to people who know no better with their shiny new PC world computers....it's bloody difficult to remove entirely, causes conflicts with many other programmes and basically, it's a pile of pants :)

Many times, someone has posted that they've got a problem with their PC and they mention Norton.....lo and behold, it all gets much better when they manage to remove it (with the tools that have been posted here several times )

There are many alternatives, including AVG free, Avast, Nod32 and some others

Erm, the combat motors fragged due to the crank flexing but the 850's went with barrel roller bearings that sorted it....:augie

Thanks for the response Fanum
