I know its an old thread but if anyone does a search on here for something similar and wants to know this you can use,

it will scan your computer and tell you what you have and what you need to improve for running games. Even if its not to know what you need to run a game just pick any game in the list do the scan then it will tell you everything you need to know anyway about what parts you have.

for whats out there at the moment an intel i5 2400K and a Z68 motherboard and 4-8gb ram will run anything when combined with a decent video card such as 6870 or an older 4870
