Do we need to hug the cliffs or is there room for manouevre...?

On the Berwick to Scarborough leg the Tyne Tunnel would appear to be included on any routes, but I hate the thing and the 20p toll....

If I can be arsed, I'll go for a ride tomorrow, but I'd like to know what kind of route is expected....After all A1 though Northumberland would be a crime....

hello chris Berwick to Holy Island off road its pretty easy then Bamburgh ,Seahouses ,Embelton ,Dunstan ,Howick,Boulmer,AlnmouthWarkworth,Amble not sure after that if you fancy meeting up give me a shout

The A1 makes a 90 left just north of Berwick. There's a roundbout.
There's a McDonald's nearby....If we were to meet in the car-park at 10 a.m?
