What's this connector for...

So Wreford ....

How are you enjoying the bike?? Everything you expected of it??

Thanks... Is that a guess

I'm afraid so.

All GSs from the lebbenfiddy had them though, if the model was ever sold in the US as well......usually it's tied up on the rail just under the seat, on the RHS of the bike......

A few previous examples....looks the same type of plug on Roy's post here

This pic is of a 1200 Merkin bike, with the cannister in place and again, the same connector at the back of it.....

I don't know for certain if the Merkins had the HP2, but if you take a peel at REAL OEM and select the Merkin market pics on the HP2, that will confirm it.

I'm fairly confident that's what it is though :thumb2

Yes and a bit more...

The suspension is as expected, very good

The engine is the big surprise, very smooth, able to tractor away at low revs and absolutely fly when rev'd.

I read somewhere that the mega moto's had hand built, blue printed engines. I'm not sure if that's true but it feels very special.

Nice :thumb2

Some of the best bikes ('Blades spring to mind) are often surprisingly 'easy' bikes (if you get my gist). Glad you're enjoying it. :thumb2
