What's this?

[Shoestring]

On my GS there's a metal bar that runs across the top of the clocks, and is attached at the side by the sub-frame. Its taken me a while to realise that this must have been added by the previous owner as I've not seen it on other GSs.

I'm assuming this is a mount for a SatNav, but I'd love to know which one, and how best to use it to mount a Zumo 550 or 660.

I thought about getting one when I had a 1200GS

I've just splurged on a Zumi 660, so this will come in handy.

I'm assuming that the PO will have wired up his unit and that I'll find a 12v take off I can use.
