have had the first chance to have a good look round the bike after getting it last sat what with the shite weather , work , so found an electric socket nder the seat what can i run from this will i need a bmw specific plug . i found the spare connector by the headstock i thought that that was the only spare electric access point

You need a Hella plug and anything that is under 5 amps will work from it.

A basic one to wire up yourself as above or there are various converter types that end in usb or cigar lighter sockets for charging gadgets etc.

I have got the cigar type adapter fron the optimate charger which i used on my other bike for a sat nav. What other things could i power from it

The spare on at the front bike by the headstock I run my garmin 660 from it and the one under your seat I bought a piggy back adapter from BMW which enables you to have power socket up by the wind winglets on the top fairing / petrol tank handy for charging your phone in a tank bag and the spare spur left under the seat powers my autocom quite handy as they are all linked to the ignition switch and power off approx 30 seconds after the key is removed
