Hello you old tossers - i'm back for some info.

Looking at maybe possibly buying an Xcountry to commute on.

There's few around and this one has just appeared.

It looks a little low at the back to me - are the 08 models a bit lower than the earlier ones - or is the suspension wildly adjustable - or whats going on ?

The 2009 bikes were made by Loncin in China, were yellow and had a steel rear subframe, lower seat, less suspension travel and softer springs.
 
ok - thanks - read all about it now - seems this ones a bit of a clunker then.

They are a bit scarce here too, so that's a shame
 
There is nothing wrong with the 09 (yellow) models IMHO. I have one that is now north of 55,000 kms and still going strong.
 
A mate has one; it's good. Seat height is slightly lower than on the black ones so a better fit for some.
