when did system 6 with bluetooth first appear on sale, and for how much

Folks. need some background information on the system6 lid and the bluetooth that goes in it. Does anyone know when they first went on sale together and how much it would have cost at that time to buy the system 6 lid WITH bluetooth fitted. I would also be grateful if anyone can provide me with any info as to where i can get both of the above, as an all in one price or maybe ill just have to add the 2 prices together with a small amount added for the fitting costs. I looked on the BMW website and it does mention it under accessories but that is about it. There is no DETAILED info anywhere that I have seen so far.

System 6 appeared in 2010. Plain colours £375, with pattern £395. The communication system was £275 at the time. The dealer would fit them together and it could take between 1 and 1.5 hours.

I vaguely recall that some silver helmets were available with pre-fitted comms, but there would not have been much of a discount (if any).

Thank you John. I'm still looking for somewhere that will sell one with the bluetooth fitted, but so far had no luck even when i entered bmw system6 with bluetooth for sale. Im crap at this fkkin internet

I got my system 6 with bluetooth fitted thrown in when I bought my bike off them. The prices they quoted me in Oct 2010 were £ 350 for the helmet and £250 for the kit fitted. However I have seen deals at the bike show for under £500 all in. Its coming to the end of the tax year so you should be able to get a deal-and nearly all dealers sell them and fit the bluetooth kit, just give a few a call and see what deal you can get.
