Having missed previous bargain basement prices for an i3, is there anywhere you can pick one of these up for a bargain price?

I saw one of these for the first time being used, and I was impressed.

Thanks in advance!

Is this good value?

Found this company with a Google search ...
GSD Navigation

2820 for £685 + £10 delivery.

Is this a good deal? :nenau

Thanks for the tip. Just popped out to Comet and bought one.

Have not tried navigating with it yet, but the menus and user interface are simple enough.

Took a few minutes to lock onto the satelites and determine the current location - there seems to be no way of manually helping the i3 determine where it is.

I also downloaded waypoints from Mapsource on my PC (which is currently locked to my Quest - I thought this would not be possible as Mapsource is supposedly locked, maybe you can only download waypoints and not maps).

OK, the i3 has lots of limitations, no pre-defined routes, only one via point etc.. but the full postcode search is good and it will prevent my Daughter from keep getting lost !!

i3 claims to be using City Select v8, but you don't get a CD. Shame really as I was hoping to use this as a cheap way to upgrade my software !!!

Oh, nearly forgot - the price on the in-store display may still say £129, but get them to check the price list on-line and it should be yours for £99.
