.... no rude or unsavory answers please!

Seriously though, I've just spent 30 mins looking at the jacket, trying to work out where the damned "bladder" or whatever is called actually goes, I can find all the holes for the tubes, but then...... into oblivion (well into the mesh lining actually). Has ANYONE ever worked this out?

Any help before a sleepless night would be great. :thumb

I've got a camel back, so I guess I can just use that, but I'm bored with terrestial TV, hence the "Jacket investigation"!

Ho hum... I should get out more.....

It's a real pain to install and fill the bladder. You have to unzip some of the inner mesh liner (at least 2/3rd's of it) in order to get access to the holder, which is about 6 inches below the neck line of the jacket. Hence most people don't bother and use an external system.

Open the left side zip which holds the mesh lining together and you will see the exit hole for the tube. The tube is routed up the left side between the mesh layers and held in place with velcro sections of nylon approx 6 inches long and tube exits at left chest. Best to take liner out and you can easily see how to instal.Once done you can then go and buy a Camel back which is easier to use/fill!

I'm aware that people have commented on how difficult it is to refill but after 7000 miles in a month in West Africa in January 06, I figured out a way of using it much better. I always thought it would be handy to share what I did with the people on the site but I never got round to it.

I will take photos later on. All that you need is 2-3 plastic tie clips and a pair of scissors.

Regards,

Errol.
