Where is the horn located on an XR250R??

Sorry for the daft question chaps but I have an MOT early in the morning and in the brief time I had to look this evening I couldn't find where the horn is actually sited - its not working and I won't have much time in the morning to search around.
I know that it doesn't work without the engine running BTW, but there isn't a sqeak out of this one - any common faults with em (2004 model)

OEM Mount is on left hand side of front engine downtube.
There should be a metal horizontal tang sticking out, just under the tank.

Guess you have the switch, but no horn.................most people threw the actual horn away

(just had a look at the For Sale pics again and it looks like it's not there)

Yes, I can confirm there is no horn assemble attached to the frame, I assume the wiring to the button is there ? I was told you can fit a small battery one for the purpose of MOT, I think, you can even get away with one of the squeeze trumpet one to go through the test

I was under the impresion that a bulb horn would fail an MOT, because it is not a continuous audible device.

Cheers guys, I've put back the MOT to give me time to fit a horn today.

I'm taking the 1150 in for MOT at the same time so maybe I can just stand behind the tester and beep the GS horn when he presses the button on the XR

Shouting GETDAFECKOUTTATHEWAYYOUBLINDTWAT at the top of you voice will have more effect than the standard strangled fart you get from an XR horn.
