Just clocked up 3000 miles since first service in May this year - had a great ride out yesterday and noticed the bike felt so different.......fewer vibes and much more power as I got over 5000 rpm....it just felt like a whole different package and fantastic to ride. Is this just the effect of the bike loosening up?

More Power?

Normal to find a bit more Go when the Rev Counter is in the top half of the scale. My boy says his KawaNinja comes alive over 10,000 FFS.

I took my Pajero into the Red Zone this evening - a mere 6,500 RPM. it definitely felt a bit livelier than when you just "chug around".

Yep mines definately better with nearly 6K on the clock, a little too easy to pop that front wheel up now though :augie
