Where to visit

Planning a trip to Wales for a few days and have never been before and need help

Which part is best to visit?

My requirements are-

Fast, scenic A and B roads (no bumpy single tracks please!)
Places of natural beauty and historic interest to visit
Good clean Hotel with parking around £60 a night

As its a relaxing break with the missus as opposed to a high mileage tour I'll probably only do around a 100-150 miles a day
