Where to weigh my bike

I have never had a bike wieghed at the MOT:confused:

You should have !! They weigh the front end then the rear before the brake test as the braking test calculates the efficiency of the individual brakes based on the weight of the bike.

If i'm wrong then no doubt someone will correct me, but my MOT station always weighs the bike before the brake test which I believe to be for the above reason.:nenau

When we weigh weigh our Staffie (she won't stand on the scales at the Vets) I get SWMBO to stand on the bathroom scales holding the dog then weigh SWMBO without the dog. Take SWMBO's weight away from the total weight of them both and there you go although in fairness you may have to lift your GS with the scales in the road unless you can get it into the bathroom? .......... Simples :augie

public weighbridge will probably be to the nearest 20kg,scrapyard will be your best bet

Won't pikey scrapyard scales always read low? on the customer facing side anyway.
