Sorry to disagree but with a series like this it's interesting to find out about the characters and their personal life. The bit with Ewan's brother and family was definitely of interest to me. Also with a fairly long series we will no doubt be seeing loads of footage of biking across loads of countries so variety gets my vote!

Holy island is in Northumberland, but the next bit of the program has them back up the road a few miles at the Scotish Boarder.

I thought they were going from John O'Grotes to London?
