Which alternative headlight for an '89 R80GS?

There don't seem to be any s/h complete units avaialble so I am going to look for a unit off another bike. A TTR250 Raid unit seems about right but the top fittings would need a lot of work to make them look right.

I was looking at a Bandit today and think that unit might fit. Has anyone else managed to fit an alternative unit and, if so, whay from and do you recommend it?

I have a headlight from a 1993 R100GS (and many more other parts ) if you are interested. Its a rectangular one though!

You may find that 'Skidmarkz' or 'Pyramid Plastics' sell the fairing cowl nowadays ( and the screen seperately ),but when I bought mine from M & P it came with its own subframe,screen,mini loom and the twin Cibies.
It was merely marketed as 'Universal Twin Headlight GPZ style'.
They also did a single lamp one with a rectangular lamp.

As for your comment on available colours....it doesn`t matter....paint it !
