Which battery

Hi there,

I wonder if someone could clear something up for me. I've found batteries for my GS cheaper with other dedicated online sellers than some of the BM specialists. I note however that one of the usual places says the battery is specifically modded for a R1200. Well I can't see what would be different as they carry the same part number and surely a battery is a battery once you have the right ratings?

Can anyone advise?

Modded for the R1200GS probably means the Terminal Fittings.

Motorworks modify the Odyssey PC535 by very neatly cutting off some of the fins on the sides of the battery case so that they do not foul cabling and a brake line.

They also supply a replacement battery strap.

You could do the first yourself, or, in my case, damage yourself badly in the attempt ....

Ah right, I've just placed an order. I would liked to have waited but sadly don't have the time, I've been off the road for a little bit and am itching to get back to it. MOT this coming weekend and then I'm off and running once more.

Help please.

Just registered but the site won't let me access the link to Finn's site regarding the Odyssey bulk order (strange - I managed to get to it from work on Friday when I was logged on as a guest )

Could do with getting my name on the order list for a PC680 with terminal adaptors ('05 1150 GSA) as my OE one is on its way out.
