I'm finally getting around to installing a beak on my 2005 GS. Question is, which beak is best and cheapest-- BMW, Touratech or...? I've also read somewhere that the beak can be glued in place, rather than bolted on. Any advice on this, type of glue, etc?

Best (and cheapest) beak extender is the BMW one, costs about £22.90. It mounts using the existing beak screws holes, but you should order longer screws and spacers whne you order the beak.

Or, you could go on to EBay and pay a lot more :D

The BMW beak is only about £20 from a dealer. It fixes securely in a couple of minutes using the existing screws. No need to glue.

:D:D:D.......Yip Cannot believe folk are paying megabucks for these things when a dealer will stick one on in 18 seconds for £30!
