Which car iphone/ipod player?

Got an iphone 4 with some cracking tunes on the ipod.
Got a great radio/CD player in the car.

What do you recommend for playing my ipod through my car stero?
Looked on amazon and rather spoilt for choice....something decent, money not really a major issue

I would go to an Alpine or Sony bluetooth head unit and do everything wirelessly. No need for trailing wires, plays even if it's tucked away in your pocket.

DO NOT buy a Parrot kit of any kind. I've just wasted >£200 to convert the built-in stereo to bluetooth and it's rubbish. Phone works great, but streaming music doesn't; it keeps dropping out and won't restart, blocks all Traffic announcements, quality is poor.....just don't!

I use a Dension Gateway 500 in my Audi. Couldn't replace the built-in stereo, so it was one of the only options. Allows me to use the IPoD and control the song choice though the MMI screen (Mobile Music Interface, I think it stands for ) in the car. Check out www.dension.com

Got the top of the line Parrot kit and it's fantastic. My bro in law has the same kit and loves his too. Works great with iphone for both calls and streaming music (has never dropped out) and when you use the connector instead of bluetooth it displays the album covers etc which is a nice touch.
Means you can keep your existing car stereo.

Same kit as above in the my Lexus and 1200RT,charges the ipod/iPhone,can use the stereo controls on steering/handlebar . Great piece of kit.
