Any thoughts on which of the below?
I was going to get the SIDI's but Damon at Bike has just put me off, describing how they're lorica and leaky - not sure that the Alpine Stars are waterproof - but then if they're a good leather design the rest will be about elbow grease? the SIDI's are couriers and the AS's No Stop Trials

Try Dainese ...

... Virunga ( ) boots, waterproof and breathable. I got a pair at the NEC, although mine are grey not yellow. Sizing can be an issue so try them first, but they are nice and wide.

Sidi's look more stylish :thumb

I too have a pair of Virunga D-Dry in Grey. Find them really comfy but the sizing is a bit strange and they need to be tried on. Have not worn them in the rain yet so cannot comment on the D-Dry bit but I much prefer them over my Sidi Black Rain.

I've been told there are two types of Sidis, one waterproof and one not.
I never got the option when I bought mine, but so far they are waterproof.
Only thing I don't like about them is ankle movement is nill.

Hi Dave, I have worn a pair of SIDI Evo Black Rain boots all year round for the past 4 years. I know thay are not the style that you are looking for, but they are lorica and only once in that time has any water entered, and that was barely enough to leave a wet spot on my sock and it came through the zip at the ankle. They are warm, comfortable and keep my feet dry! :thumb :thumb :thumb
