which foot down first - stopping

people actualy interested in this subject please stop, as all you are doing is confirming what most bikers think of BMW riders !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know the answer, but the correct question will take 7,500,000 pages

:D

the sound of a Tosser UNsubscribing from a thread;

AaaAAAAaaAAAarrRRrRRRrGgggggghhhhhhhh! :banghead:

gona give a responsible answer,
i would put left foot down first, because your controlling the rear brake with the right one, especially when slow riding. however you need to look at the lay of the ground ie. if you are a cross a hill running down from right to left, you may have to put your right foot down first?

I know you mean well, but you need to read the thread through :eek: You're bang on of course, the majority of posts in the same vain, just one or two tossers with died in the wool, head in the sand ideas :eek:

Get to six pages Andres and I'll quit ... honest :P

:beerjug:

An outfit is definitely the way to stop this - break an ankle putting a foot down!

On an outfit, do you hav to put BOTH feet down at the same time?

I thought the correct way to stop a motorcycle combination was to STAND UP on the pegs, so as to gain clearer, longer vision down the road from the junction.

If you stood on the seat you could see further again.....:augie
