Hypothetical question:

I have come to a stop to wait for a traffic signal or some other short delay, and have an itchy nose or chin. Which hand should I take off the handlebar controls to scratch that itch?

I dont leave my hands on the handlebars when stopped anyway. i rest em on the tank - so - hypothetical answer - either :nenau

Depends which foot you've got down  I'd use me left hand to scratch, leaving me right one to apply the brake or annoyingly blip the throttle.

Use a flip face helmet and raise front before coming to stop. Stroke nose on emery board (available from the missus) zip-tied or hot-glued to the cross bar on 1100/1150s. If 1200 use bespoke titanium Schnozzinator mount available from the usual sources. Whilst relieving itch check area for loose nuts. ;)

Ok....in traffic, depends if you have it in gear or not. Rght foot on back brake out of gear you can relax (check mirrors for nutters screaming up behind you!:eek) and scratch with either hand, or both if you're really probuscus endowed :D.

If in gear, right hand only with right foot on brake. Left hand is still on the clutch. You could try using your left but you'll a) smack the back of the car infront of you or b) stall embarrassingly or c) find your clutch is FUBAR and wonder why engine is still running in gear whilst you're stationary.:blast

Geddit?

Personally, I have a 2 foot schnozzinator attached to my GPS mount, although I can't brake too hard or it tickles the back of my brain....:augie

If you were on test it would have to be your right hand.
The left would mean you were in neutral causing the right foot had to go down unnecessarily leading to a minor fault.:rob

If you're not on test..who gives a toss:thumb
