Which of you lucky lot are picking up new LC on the 2nd?

That's the colour I'm getting:beerjug: First job is to get the silver panels round the tank wrapped:D

No, I twat rather than tweet and I have Charlie on speed dial. If your a good boy you can admire my new 1200 from afar - :D

ooooooh I cant wait, will you explain the switches to me? I love it when you get all technical :D can we wrap it together.

Big event down at Chandlers Brighton this morning, and a good turnout, but to my slight surprise they only actually had three physical bikes, two demonstrators and my TE. They are quoting August delivery for orders placed today.

The problem with picking the bike up on a launch day is that the dealer is really disorganised - no handover as such, no explanation on basic controls or running in regime, no guidance on how to adjust the seat, and no warning about the slippy tyres and brakes ... oh, and the world and his dog treats your new bike like public property. I should have taken it last night when they offered...

Cheers
Jimmy

Plymouth looking all GS'd up!

Ocean in Plymouth are having a fantastic lunch/launch burgers et-al all free (donation to blood bikes)
Bikes on demo, brilliant feeling. can't wait for mine

Good grief.. What on earth else would you have expected on day one? :nenau

They're just very limited downsides of having the newest and most shiny of the shiny things in the village.

... and I've just discovered that they haven't given me the handbook/service record book ... bit of an inauspicious start!

youre yesterdays news in salesmans terms :blast

Good turnout at Bahnstomer Alton this afternoon. Hampshire Police/Bikesafe
very much in evidence and the new WC looked very pretty in blue.

There was a demo WC doing good business although someone had a near miss when it stalled as they turned right two up from the showroom. Well held whoever it was !

Nice rolls, wraps samosas and coffee too :beerjug:

Still think I might give it a year before thinking about a change though:D

Had a nice morning at North Oxford BMW, staff were well organized and had plenty of time to answer questions and queries :thumb2

Always a pleasure to deal with.

The August delivery quote is BS:rob At Vines, you can get delivery early April, if you place an order now:thumb I'd imagine that would be the same at any dealer:nenau

New bikes available now if you take stock. Orders are below expectations but that's the economy not the bike.

It is a BIG improvement on the old bikes. Good finish quality and hooligan engine.

Great time to buy a TallRounder, lots of good healthy competition.

True

I could have one next week if I wanted to take a spec that was built

If I wanted a special build late April or early May at the latest
