Have made my mind up. next bike is a 2015 gs or 2015 xr. what has the xr got spec wise over a gs. am only 5ft 9 insh tall adventure out of the question.?,

Have a look here the standard seat height on the XR is the lowest out of it the GS and GSA

Look at the reviews there is a proper section for the XR it's a different animal to the GS lump.

80 percent thinking the gs for me. had a 2008 version loved that. so expecting the updated version is for me.

Toys and gadgets the GSA TE wins but the main difference or the most striking difference is the performance of the XR over the GS

Both bikes will get you to the destination, one will do it in a more relaxed and comfortable manner whereas the other will put a bigger smile on your face and more points in your license

I had a go on another XR today, I've rode 4 different XR's now and all have different traits, not one the same. I left this one in dynamic and hell it felt fast, really fast tbh it's like an elastic band, changing gear using the shifter is Seamless a bit like a DSG box and down shifting is as good, fueling is spot on 22mph in 6th and it pulled cleanly, impressive stuff.

I'm 5" 8in and a short arse and I have an Adventure. Just be careful when you need to stop !!
