Can I ask where you got the clips and pipe from?

Looks great for GPS/Phone as you say.

The pipe was the steel tube stick from an old IKEA standard lamp. Don't cut it too short but be careful because too long will rub the screen.
This on eBay would work 252096298557.
Also get some plastic plugs for the ends or cut down a plastic wine bottle cork.
The P clips have to be twisted to line up with the screen mounts. I use two clips under one rubber strip as that's a bit more rigid.
