Tourance £183.37?
Tourance EXP £205.92?
Battlewings £195.87?
Anakees £203.12?

Also .. why do they vary in price at retail level when at Wholesale level they are the same price? :nenau

Don't know where you're looking Tom, but you should look somewhere else.

Wholesale to retail price will be influenced by discounts to dealers according to volume/relationship/special offers/stock levels, the price they want to charge for fitting - including wheel removal, balancing (if they bother) valves etc and disposal of the old tyre. All these latter ones are business specific so will vary from place to place and time to time. Shop around and be prepared to travel for good service.
Best service at a competitive price that I've found is http://www.motorcycletyresuk.com/ - Romford - other side of London for you so the tyres will be scrubbed in by the time you get home. :D There are cheaper deals and there is worse service.

Tourance!

Anakees are ok, but wear oddly and give uncomfy vibes up through the bars!

Well my last 2 sets did, so Im back on Tourances.:)

The wholesale retail thing came about when a wholesaler was displaying stuff at NOG open day a couple of months back. I asked the guy why the price varied. he said they didn't at least he sold them to NOG at the same price.

The prices listed were from Micheldever when I rang in the morning. They have been the cheapest whenever I looked for a new tyre for all previous bikes.

Try Bridgestone BT020/021's

Hiya Novice,

The only time I take my GS 1150 off road is when I over cook a corner!!!.....so if you do most/nearly all of your miles on tarmac consider changing over to a road orientated tyre......with the original Tourances it was the best handling bike I had ever ridden, with the Bridgestones on it's IMHO, even better.

Safe riding

Spotless

I've been buying metzeler ME55 rears lately because they are £56 delivered.

Last ok and very good on road

but then I'm not one of the rich GSER's
