Machineart Avant fender extender, SW Motech engine guard front protection or the stainless timing cover protectors which mount on the timing cover screw holes?

Option 1, think about the fact that the front wheel changes angle as you turn the bars, so the Avant is always catching the crud whatever the angle, so not just protecting the timing cover, but helping protect the cases / cylinders etc.

Thats far to sensible a post for me, I'm off for a lie down :)

Can they be used together without clearance problems?

Not if you've got a GSA. I use the fender extender, and it does the job on my GSA.:thumb I had both on my GS, but the crud catcher never got dirty.

The front timing cover on mine rotted at the bottom two bolt holes and bottom plastic cover bolt.
First two are protected by exhaust pipe and the cover midline was unmarked. The belt cover thread should be fully protected but it rotted anyway.
None of these get crud off the wheel so the stainless plate just hides the bubbling paint.
I have a carbon fibre fender extender £20 from Spain. It works well.
