Went oot fir a scoot today, with the wife as pillion first time she's done it, I must admit this bike (1150GSA) surprise me every time I get out on it nothing has fazed it yet, awesome machine

Saw quite a few GS out even saw his Highness waiting like a commoner at the traffic lights along the side of Loch Lomond, then spent the next 30 mins trying to explain to the good lady about the tradition hand signal to acknowledge a fellow tosser

It's been a good weekend all and all.

Any photies mr Roddy? Just you wait it won't be long 'til your wife gets the biking bug!! 2 yrs ago I was terrified of being a pillion and wouldn't even put a helmet on, now I've got an 1150!!

It would be good if she got the bug and wanted to learn how to ride we'll wait and see but Im not holding my breathe as she doesn't drive either at the mo'

ooh ta'......so just as I had to learn new hand signals to become a diver, I'll need to master a new hand signal to speak with other tossers, will dream up something new for car drivers who I've been mistakenly calling tossers for years

I was going to head out over the west coast today as it was roasting hot this morning here and clear blue skies. I fancied lunch at Gairloch in the Old Mill Inn which serves top nosh and I was on for a Sunday nose bag. However the further West we went the worse the weather got so after we found the road close out of Tomintoul made a quick divert round (Bl**dy miles) and dropped down into Avimore to see the Harley boys playing charades. 5 minutes of that made me wonder why I have a Harley, there is something about the bikes but something else about the HOG riders......

Anyway we went back up to Revack Estate just outside of Grantown for lunch (great place for a snack or lunch - but you need to book for lunch if you want to eat inside so we ate "al Fresco". Had a fantastic blast about the Moray countryside (knowing all the local bobbies must be at the accident at Tomintoul). Carried my camera with me all day but forgot to take it out of my bag
