HI Fellow GSers,

I wonder if someone can answer my question, I bought a 2015 GSA full option a few weeks ago from the motorrdad dealer.
Anyhow I an hearing a whining hum like a bearing rubbing or brakes from about 40mph and gets louder upto 60mph. I have METZELER TOURANCE NEXT tyres on btw. The dealer said it was just the bikes nautural noise from the front coming up into the bike. It really annoys me... hmmm what do you think?

There is a noise from the front end which 'disappears' as you accelerate, say beyond 45. I put it down to the shape of the front end and the wind passing through it. I can't identify anything mechanical

I also owned the same bike in 2014 and it also made this noise i put it down to the bigger/wider front end funnelling the noise towards rider my previous standard wc didnt do it,only seems to be gsa, hope this helps.:thumb2

My GSA 1200LC makes a noise from the front end, it appears to be the tyres. On old tarmac it is really noticeable but get on brand new smooth tarmac and it disappears. Bike is fitted with Anakee 3s.

Do you have panniers on? I get the same symptoms with mine on, noise louder when cornering, panniers seem to project sound forwards.

Fitted Dunlop TR91s to mine and the nose went...the Anakee 3s made a racket in comparison.
