Right the system I am using is as follows.
I use a Zumo 550 for navigation and music, this is connected to my android phone via bluetooth.
I have made my own custom made earbuds and plug this into the Zumo to hear directions and music.
The downfall here is I can see someone is ringing and can answer it from the Zumo but can't speak to them only hear them.
What I need is the following:
1 x Autocom boom mic with a lead about 60 cm long with a 2.5 / 3.5 mm jack plug.
1 x lead about 110 cm with two inputs, a 2.5 / 3.5 mm female jack plug (depending on the above size for the mic) and a 3.5 mm female jack plug, both plugs need to combine into a single lead and ending in 3.5 mm jack plug. (This will be the lead connecting the earbuds and mic together and plug into the below lead)
1 x lead about 110 cm with a 3.5 mm female jack plug on one end and the other end needs to be a 3.5 mm right angled jack plug for the audio to go into the Zumo and a second 2.5 mm right angled jack plug for the mic input on the Zumo. (This is the lead from the headstock to the Zumo connections so I can plug in the above lead to this one on the bike)
Make sense? Im confused!!!
I think this will work as long a I use a 'TRRS' plug to be able to carry both signals.
Just as I have used TRRS above, it doesnt mean I know what I am doing I have just been doing some research!
Just found this which is similar to cable 2 that I need but needs a female 3.5 mm pluf not a male one.
