Your right there my friend, the WTRA (Welsh Trail Riders) are up your way ish, Alston, in Late May bank for 5 days (can't wait) and then onto Scotland and Cumbria. Been that way a few times over the moores etc, superb riding a bit like Wales in places

Anniversary

I like the place so much I'm going to take the missus there (Once I've found a cottage) and the two dogs for a long weekend for our wedding anniversary.

You're not wrong - we went to North Wales last August and had awful weather. The only view of Snowdon we could see was on postcards!

Friends of ours own this place. Lovely area in a quiet village.

Looks very nice, but, £798 for 2 weeks in June or €700 for the same 2 weeks in Cortina d'Ampezzo. Which is why in spite of the pitifull exchange rate, Cortina here we come this year.

Not a dig at this place, it's the same, or more across the UK
