Yes indeed, bike belonged to the esteamed Mr Emerson. Chris loaned it when I did an open test day for Cooper Reading ( ah those were the days! ) at a golf club north of Reading, where the pics were taken. I remember proping up the bike with the aid of a blue parts bin.

looks similar to a Schalber made up modle I saw in SPC a few years ago, it was white and about 8500 GBP

I am thinking about building up a daker into a decent rallye bike and bored as hell right now, too tired to go home - that sounds stupid I know, I only live 10 mins away.

I want an electric start, I love the XR650 but its electric, KTM too expensive and need heaps of service generally, like the rotax engine and the BMW badge, surfing thinking about ideas
