Booked ferry tickets last night for my ZX6r riding daughter and myself last night. Just got to organise the camping. I last visited the Island when Mike Hailwood returned in '77 and '78 so expecting some "elf & safety" restrictions though. Still, I'm sure I won't be disappointed, I know my daughter won't be as she went earlier this year.

Boy are you in for a surprise!

I saw Hailwood those years too and went every year from then (apart from 84) until 2k. Then I had a gap of 9 years between 2000 and 2009 and the changes between those 'lost' years were substantial....!

Speed restricted areas, apart from the mountain, are almost joining up around the course, sitting on the bank, except for a few places, a thing of the past .... Hey-ho, things change.... :rob :D

Enjoy... :thumb

I thought I was in for a shock, I went from '77 to '83 - missed your visit by a year. Anyway, hey-ho I'm still looking forward to going after a very long break, and I'm also led to believe a couple of early laps before brekkie might be a bit restricted as well. :blast

Camping now organised at Glenlough, Union Mills. Doubtless the rain will be as consistant as usual, won't dampen my enthusiasm though.

I'm going again and taking my 72 year old dad with me this year. Usually go with my son but he's got GCSE's. Lived on the Island for 5 years and whilst it's changed a lot, it's mostly for the better and is still an awesome spectacle

I'm in......Race week, Ferry in Tuesday...ferry out Sunday (couldn't get out Saturday even as a foot passenger/pushbike)

Done IoM a couple of times but I've never done the TT....I've done my share of MotoGPs/WSB/BSB/F1 and the TT is sort of missing from my racing CV, so I've decided to give it a go in 2015.

Can't wait......:aidan
