why can't i 'pm' (private message)?

nothing to do with bikes this thread. sorry.

to the ones in the know, why can't i PM someone in this forum?
all i get is a message box giving reasons the possibilities why i can't?

maybe one needs to be a forum sponsor or something, perhaps?

I have tried that; can't do.

And I tested it;
I tried to e-mail me - can't do that either. It say I don't want e-mails.

I like to get e-mails!

Liv...go to your profile (the user cp button)...there's an option in there to select that you will accept emails.
