Why do people buy Harley Davidsons?

We will see. Might need two Americans in my life.

I hear they are fecking loud and obnoxious. Will the Yorkshire lab be able to handle the two loud Americans?

Yes. I'm only allowed smoke & beer money.
And I like loud and obnoxious.
I recon they would welcome you with open arms over there, on the other side of the pond 🤪

Stop listening to Arsey… your RKS is stunning.

I think the Challenger would be in addition to the RKS, probably replacing the RT.
Have you ridden one , Twizz.
Hate to say it but it goes and handles better than any Harley I’ve ridden .

But then again my Wing goes and handles better than the Challenger

I’d buy a Goldwing over a Challenger- if it was my money.

Yeah but have you ridden either ?

Nope….I only ride or test ride what I’m thinking of buying.. and neither is on my list..!!

So, it’s just fluff and words from me…

I think you’d be surprised how well the Challenger rides compared to the looks. The handling was nothing short of stunning .

I’ll give one a try … what’s the leg room like? More relaxed then HD with the “auto” scrunch…

I've done 2 test rides on Challengers. They are physically bigger (or certainly appear to be) than Harley tourers, and more comfortable out of the box. Then add in the fact that they come from the factory with good suspension, braking, lighting and power...........:drool......(just a shame I can't afford one at the moment). I would like to have one for a day or two like Arsey has done to get more of a feel for it though.

Still looks like a feckin skid mark in ya best white jockey Y’s though 😂

I had the itch to try one. Got a Road King about 13 months ago. Loud enough to be heard anywhere, not sure what the farmers thought of me running through the valleys with their sheep in the field. Really not a bad bike, but I could not get on with the heaviness of the steering, and even although it did seem heavy it could also be quite twitchy on the roads around here which are sometime strewn with all sorts of debris off the back of tractor trailers. So, itch, scratched! It went last week in exchange for a R1200 Adventure, although the 1150 GSA still sits in the garage not completely forlorn and ready to go whenever it is needed. DO not think I will be having another HD, and that is still okay in the universe.

I like the look of Harleys.... then i hear one and remember why i don't want one!

Noisy as feck for no reason whatsoever.
