There's loads of people who frequent this section of the forum, I am just amazed at the apathy this last while.

I realise that there is a pretty wide divide between the two ends of the country

So if an event is happening in Cork then it's bo real shakes for me as it'll take me half a day to get there, same for the guys in Cork to here

so why not draw an imaginary line across the google map from Dublin to Claremorris and have

Irish area section and 2 subsections South of Claremorris to Dub divide and North of the CMS to Dub divide?

Some more activity in here would be a breath of fresh air! Not that Joe's waffling is incessant or anything!

I think he's just trying to kickstart some debates too!

Civil's just stirrin the Pot like he usually does probably for the same reason to get some Dialogue goin!

OMG I'm Startin to sound like Gerry and Iain sittin around the big table havin a cup a tea up at Stormount!

I am about as remote as its possible to be and still be on the mainland. But a fair few are coming down for the west cork ride...

Stop complaining and start something up....:thumb

This being said, I would probably not go out for a rideout further afield than Cork or West Kerry, as I have other stuff to do too...

(Sometimes) Good luck...

We didn't want to waken you up.....

Do you really want to setup another artificial border on this here Island.....

Nope most definitely NOT!

BUT I and (hopefully others) feel there's something missing ?

There's a sense of camaraderie between the folks that do bother to get involved in here

"But Surely there must be more activity out there somewhere looking for a place to land?"

There just seems there's a load of folks that can't be arsed

It's quite hard to organise runs that will suit a lot of Tossers Jaythro and personally speaking, I do try to get to as many as I possibly can.

So far this year there has been the Galway fish dash, the Waterford fish dash, Kesh and in two weeks time Richie is having his Allihies weekend. Jockser and I put in nearly 600 miles this weekend towards the Tipp weekend.

I think that if someone is willing to step up and offer a good days riding in an interesting and scenic part of the country then many riders will turn up. There have been more newbies out this year than ever before which is great.

Maybe it's time for another Sperrin run. I'll see what I can put together for late May or June if there's any interest out there.

That may be true, but as they say "build it and they will come".

Oh aye theres nothing us Nordies like better than an organised run right on our doorstep that we can do our utmost to avoid going to, then gurn that there's never anything for us to do ;)
