I Was chatting to bigAl and thought it would be a good idea to have a Wifey/family camp out this year. So all the bike widows can compare stories and check out all the dates that we went missing:augie :blast
Was thinking West Wales, Camarthen area :nenau (I know that Taff has good knowledge of the area, Llansteffan --nice fire on the beach :camping a few beers :beer:-) nice view in the evening and the like any ideas welcome. Tenby is also a good area. I have been recommended the:
Meadow Farm, Northcliffe
Tenby
Pembrokeshire
SA70 8AU in Tenby used by a :mcgun :moped: scooter club, easy walk to the town etc
As long as there is something to do in the day, murder ball, kick a cat  fly a kite and general skylarking, just to keep the kids and wifeys busy. Wasn't thinking taking the bikes, just load the car up Friday early Saturday and go, meet have a barbie and fall in my tent :D

Dates wise, looking at the 5th/6th August Weekend (School hols) or 23rd July weekend.

Trousers for sale

Has anybody got some trousers ?????
Count me out on this one too.
Good luck though.

ps Not much interest so far in the ride out/bunkhouse weekend:nenau
Really, if general consensus is for following weeekend I am totally
cool with it, just speak up:rob

Llansteffan is a gorgeous coastal village but the camping facilities are pretty limited. I've always fancied wild camping near the beach, but the locals are pretty protective and I don't think we'd get away with it.

There is a secluded beach near Pendine, but there are no facilities whatsoever and it's a good 15 - 20 minute walk to the village along unlit paths. I don't know who owns it but we have camped there overnight a few years ago. I'm not sure if they're stricter these days or not.

St Clears camp site

There is a newly opened small campsite just about 1 mile outside St Clears on the B4299.Aprox 7 miles from Carmarthen.
Its next to a small lake but does not have many faclities.
Easy travelling distance to Llansteffan and Pendine and Pendine motor museum is worth a look.
I live in Carmarthen and persoanally would say Saundersfoot is the place to stay.Great beach, small town, very beautiful scenery with pubs and bars and easy riding in either direction.
Hope that helps:)

Just got back from a week away, in a Caravan so am in the mood for another camp weekend.
Hope there is at least one pub, Al, going to book the Tenby one in a couple of days for Me and Ewe. May book it for 5 pitches, (are you up for Friday/Saturday or just Saturday?) and see if I can fill em at a later date. Bound to get someone to come along. :thumb2
