Wifi drivers just disappeared

Spooky this one
I was on my sony vaio netbook running windows 7 and it dropped the wifi connection despite my best efforts to reconnect including system restore there are no wifi drivers listed in Device Manager

Any ideas please as tinterweb is not much help

I also had this, I had to connect through a cable to the web and down load the drvers. I checked for virus's as thay can try and stop you connecting to the web. I think my computer reverted to an earlier state. bizarre
