Travelled with Wildcat though Spain & into Morocco in Oct 2007. If you look on the Wildcat wesbite you will see a good write-up from one of the others who I travelled with, and also a write up in this website.
A well planned tour, excellent routes and hotels, and the comfort of having an experienced guide to show you around who spoke French. Meals were generally included in the hotel in Morocco however we did have a couple of nights eating out in local restaurants. Just about everyone had a dodgy stomach at some point on the tour & Morocco has a long way to go before it would win any 'best public toilet' awards (although the hotels and most places were fine. The tour is bit pricey and you could do it cheaper alone or with a few friends however it is good & safe introduction to getting into Africa.
There were various highlights incl Marrakech souk, crossing the Atlas - Tiz N Test and Tiz n Ticha passes, getting caught in a sandstorm @ Merzouga and the desert, Ait Benhaddou where they filmed part of Gladiator, and Essoira on the Atlantic coast.
There were 14(?) bikes on this tour and we tended to break into two group for riding, meeting up again at each hotel. Most bikes were various ages of GS, a few V-Stroms, and a couple of Honda Transalps, and me on my R1200ST. A roadbike was fine as the planned routes were all tarmac, although Wildcat does also do off-road stuff in Morocco.
Also a Toyota Landcruiser followed you around whilst in Morocco so you could dump most of your luggage out of the panniers. The back-up came in handy when one bike did break down in-country and the Landcruiser did some running around to get it fixed.
One of the tour party had been on the Libya tour in 2006 but seemed to enjoy the Morocco trip more as the routes & scenery were better. Libya is apparently rather flat & featureless.
