wanting to do some off roading so want to swap cast wheels off my 2005 gs 1200 to spoke wheels . there is a back spoked wheel off a 2010 1200 adventurer for sale does anybody know if they will fit ,cheers

Yes - I have a 2005 GS with 2012 GSA spoked wheels fitted . You need longer wheel bolts with the rear spoked wheel .

this may sound a bit dumb ,,but being new to gs,, can i ask the diff from standard to spoked,, is it purley weight ?

The wire spoked wheels having an extruded alloy rim will handle more abuse than solid cast wheels. The 5 spoke alloys and Adventure wires with fitted tyres weigh virtually the same. Earlier model twin spoke alloys are said to be a little lighter.
