Will a r1150gs adv front shock fit onto a r1100gs

has anyone put a r1150gs adventure front shock onto a r1100gs bike?

looking at the specs on ohlins web site there are some differences regarding the length & stroke but would these make any real difference?

Length: 335mm
Stroke: 92mm

It looks like it will sit 9.5mm higher at the front and make your sidestand even less effective

No even higher due to the lever arm effect, but yes they fit, the rear does not, but I made an adaptor to fit an 1100 shock to the 1150.
