Will this thing work with my 1600gt 2015?
I know it’s says from 2014, it’s just that I don’t understand what the differences would be between the years.

I guess that the limitation might be as to whether the 1600’s ‘dashboard locker’ where a Navigator device lives, will be able to physically accommodate / power the new device. Whether the 2014 date relates only to the GS and other models, which (maybe) only gained the wonder wheel thing after the 1600, is another possibility, I suppose.

Checking the posts on the K1600 forum, I think you'll find the jury is out at present when it comes to backwards compatibility - UK launch is November, cost £660 (ouch)

The current detail suggests the CRN fits the R1300GS cradle, but I'm not sure whether they were even considering K16 riders on 8 y/o bikes when they wrote the press release.

As Wapping says, talk to your dealer, but maybe leave it a month or so to let the froth subside.

I did talk to BMW Aberdeen, he said it fits in the cradle on a 1250 GS which means the 1300 has the same figment. I’m not so sure. I think he was a bit confused with the latest sat nav and this thing.
I don’t think it will fit the cubby hole on the 1600 but it must come with a mounting connection r it wouldn’t fit everything back to 2014.
I’ll wait for more news……
