Will it fit ?

Does anyone know if an Ohlins rear shock designed for an 1100GS ( 93 - 98)will fit a 2001 1150GS ?

If it doesn't, can it be modified to suit ?

theres a couple different rear ohlins for both the 1100 & the 1150.

going by the length & stroke i would say yes.

I'm pretty sure the lower mounts are different.

a std 1100 shock doesn't fit an 1150.

however - you may be able to get it rebuilt with a different lower mtg
