I notice that they sell a side bag to fit to the tank bag. Like the Hien Gericke one thats now discontinued but people still want :thumb

In fact the whole setup looks a lot like the HG kit.

Tankbag

Hi Chris,
I have had one of the tankbags you mention from Winding roads.
I have found it very good the only complaint I can find is that when you need to fill up with fuel you have to take the bag off by means of a zip.
This realy is no big hardship. It just takes a bit of getting used to after being used to a baglux system on a couple of previous bikes. So I would say get one.It does what it says on the tin :D

I had a tank bag from Winding Roads on a previous Triumph with no problems. A mate of mine with a 950 KTM also has exactly the same bag, but it has the KTM badges on, so obviously made by the same people.

It's a FAMSA bag

Bought one off Caveman from this forum, £70 including postage. It's a good strong bag. The zip aint a hassle to get off once you've done it a few times :)

I've used this famsa tank bag on 3 gs's, now on the 1200 and its great. You do need to get used to zipping it on and off the base and can be a bit fiddly in the dark but once you get the hang of it no problem and its a very good size......
