Can anyone recommend a good make of windproof clothing? Looking more for something for the upper body rather than
underpants! Like a rollneck or t-shirt?

Tried and Tested?

1. Mountain Hardwear do a Windstopper fleece that I wear all the time. Never had on a better weight to windstop ratio. Never take it off!

2. BMW Comfortemp range is super warm, light and comfy but it needs a shell on top in wind . Best bet if you are in and out of the warm from the cold a lot . (Very William Shatner effect if you like being warped a bit.)

3 Outdoor Research do a windprooof Ceres fleece which takes on all comers, they say...It's cheaper than both of the above and better in wind. No personal experience here...sorry.

Windstopper

I have a TOG 24 fleece that I bought 4 yrs ago.
It has proved to be excellent - very hardwearing and keeps the wind out .

Seconded on the fleeces....try any Cotswold, Blacks or Millets stores...loads of choice and some good kit out now......(what a turn around by Millets BTW...just a few years ago they were the Skoda od the highstreet retailers and now they're pretty cool!)

Or any ski-wear shop....

All of the above will have mucho wind-proof stuff including fairly thin but very warm wind proof gloves that will go under your normal gloves....
