I've been told the way to go with a taller screen is also to install winglets on the bike.
Yes, I understand that it will redue wind but it's a motorcycle, not wanting to upset anyone here who as given me advice but I've bought a Gs, not a fully faired Rt or k1300. My view is, why try and turn a GS into a full touring bike...

( I am now waiting for the tongue lasing)

I will be out of the Country for the next Month or so.....

It's not about wind protection.

It's about turbulance protection. The really nasty buffetting that vibrates your eyeballs, gives you headaches, puts pressure on your body giving you unneccessary fatigue etc.

Clean airflow on a naked bike is wonderful.... so it isn't about wind protection.

On my TE Alpine GS, I have the puig screen (bigger and wider than the GSA one I originally had)and Wunderlich winglets, it’s a sea of relative calm behind the screen. Oh and some Cymarc screen brace thingys as well.

I have a Puig and I find the same.. no need for winglets. I actualy cut about 40mm off the top of the screen so I could get into the air when down, but fully out when up... works well for me ;)
