Hi,

as my workshop hasn't built itself yet my bike will have to live outside all winter.

Can anyone recommend a cover big enough to fit an R1100GS with a tall screen and a topbox on the back? It gets used daily so the cover must be fairly easy to fit/remove.

Thanks,

Olly

Try this company, my missus works for them. They do a range of bike covers.

£20 from M&P, if you want to live up to your posting name
http://www.mandp.co.uk/productinfo.aspx?catref=500088 - use the biggest size. up to 1500CC. I used one for 2 winters before getting a garage.

Invest in a couple of bungee straps to hook through the rear wheel and over the seat in windy weather.

The 2 vents in the top, covered by velcro flaps, are good as they reduce any condensation.

Hi!

Go to link --> www.louis.de

(Press the english flag as the website defaults in german)

Serach for item number:
10008312 MOTODOME VCI CORROSION PROTECTION FOLDING GARAGE

10008313 If you want a bigger size

Get your bike inside that bag, purchase also the anticorrosion 10008315 cup and zip close everything.

Add a regular and cheap silver cover on top and you're all set for the winter season

HINT: I use to place also some anti-humidity sand. The one used for wardroves and so on, just in case.

Rest assure the bike will be ok after many, many months of cold and wet weather

Fairly easy to work with whenever you want to go for a ride

Maybe in the states you can find some similar product, but that's whats available in Europe.

Regards
