I'm looking for a wiring diagram for the F650GS/Dakar. Namely the Lambda sensor wiring.
I've spent the last 40 mins looking on the Chain Gang site to no avial and my workshop CD dosn't have the wiring diagram either.
Can anyone help?

Cheers Val.

They do seem to have a lotof usefull stuff on their site. Got the Airhead service schedule from it as well :)

Just hope your bike conforms to the diagram.

Spoke to BW too this afternoon. They couldn't tell me for certain which wire was which, said I might look on here for the information :blast

so thats where they get all that knowledge from.

This info is based on the 'chaingang' wiring diagrams which I used when I did my Lambda sensor,it sounds as though your bike may be different if you can't find the right wires.Anyway, hopefully this will be of some use......

pin 1 on lambda connector to BMS pin 10 Grey/Black wire, sensor heater +
pin 2 " " " to Earth (-) Brown/Orange wire
pin 3 " " " to BMS pin 16 Yellow wire,signal from sensor
pin 4 " " " to BMS pin 17 Black wire,feed to sensor

Tony,

Thanks for putting this up :thumb2 I'll get my head under the bike tomorrow.

Cheers guys both.

How did you get on?

Tony

Well all the wires matched up :thumb2 Couldn't get the solder to stick to the wires (yes I did use flux) so had to crimp them instead.

SWMBO has ridden it to work for the last couple of days, so far so good :thumb2

Though it does take about 100 miles for the computer to pick up the fault after it's been reset. :mmmm

I've not heard this before, can you explain further?

Tony

Last time I reset the computor (disconnected it for half an hour) All was well for the next 250 miles (trip to Wales for dinner) then the fault returned. :nenau
